    The experts of the Appraisal Department of the K.A.C. Legal Advisors & Auditors render services of expert appraisal of property, rights of property and non-property rights, business and ground area. As a rule the appraisal is not an aim itself of the client but rather serves as a major instrument for assets transactions.
Transactions where expert appraisal is used
  1. Introduction of addition assets into authorized capitals of companies.
  2. Evaluation of investments into authorized capital.
  3. Settlement of property buying, selling and leasing transactions.
  4. Fixing of property hypothecation value.
  5. Rating of intangible assets.
  6. Rating of enterprise assets on conclusion of insurance contract.
  7. Evaluation of enterprise (undertaking) appeal.
  8. Resolution of pecuniary disputes.

The Law of Ukraine requires the expert appraisal:
  1. In case of the public enterprise privatization.
  2. In case of the state ownership leasing.
  3. To size material damages on attachment of insured accident.
  4. In case of the property fee into authorized capitals of the company being established.
  5. In case of transactions with ground areas.
What can present a subject to appraisal
Appraisal of machinery, mechanisms, equipment and vehicles
The appraisal of these assets is necessary to insure them as well as rent, lease, leave as a deposit, size material damages on attachment of insured accident.
    This group includes
  • diverse purpose machinery and equipment;
  • vehicles;
  • other sorts of movable property.
Enterprise (private business) appraisal (cost estimating of operating enterprise)
As a rule the appraisal of the given object is necessary to evaluate the company holding of shares, to insure, to elaborate and analyse business-plans, to resolve pecuniary disputes of co-founders, to evaluate the investment appeal of the objects of investment, to dissolve enterprises.
Intellectual property appraisal
Appraisal of the asset constitutes usually a part of the report on the company cost as a whole. Tangible assets appraisal is conducted sometimes (trade marks, software, new technologies, author's rights, business reputation, etc.) to determine moral damage, to size damages on attachment of insured accident, to introduce intellectual property into authorized capitals of the enterprise, to re-apprise the enterprise assets.
Ground areas appraisal
Ground areas appraisal is divided into normative and expert one.
   The normative appraisal is used for the calculation of the land tax, rent identification for land use, damage evaluation of forests and agricultural land.
   The expert appraisal is used at the performing of civil transactions with ground areas.
   Presently the market of ground areas is hardly developed, however, after the Land Code adoption by the Verkhovna Rada (Supreme Council - the Ukrainian Parliament), in which it clearly defines the individual right to ground areas in Ukraine; movement on the land marker is expected in the near future.
   Our company has the appropriate experience of assessed commercial value of tangible and intangible assets: buildings, constructions, equipment, vehicles, holding of shares, author's rights, enterprises (business) and ground areas.
   The qualification of our experts is confirmed by certificates of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, and the State Committee for Land Resources which grant the right to appraisal activity. The General Agreement (Class A, B, C) on the right to appraisal activity was concluded.
   Appraisal is effected in the form of a report complying with the Approved European Standards (ECO), recommendations of the Ukrainian Association of Appraisers, of the State Property Fund of Ukraine and the State Committee for Land Resources of Ukraine and the existing legislation of Ukraine.
